What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position at Super 8?
Super 8 by Wyndham La Crosse is currently hiring a part-time front desk agent. We are looking for someone who is genuinely friendly and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of guest service. The responsibilities at the front desk require excellent communication skills and follow-through.
Responsibilities include:
- Warmly greet guests by telephone, email, messaging, or in-person.
- Make, confirm, and update reservations.
- Manage inquiries, requests, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Answer questions and provide information to other staff members and the public.
- Clean and maintain the lobby and front desk office.
- Assist guests to promptly address their concerns with empathy.
- Update information on a computer property management system with statuses such as checked in, checked out, and cancelled as well as perform modifications to reservations.
- Keep track of customer accounts, forms of payment and room assignments or occupancy.
Experience preferred:
- Ability to use Gmail and Excel.
- Experience with hotel reservations software.
- Proficient in phone etiquette with a multi-line phone system.
- In person customer service.
- Staying organized and communicating during peak as well as off peak hours.
- Attention to detail and consistent procedures.
