What are the responsibilities and job description for the Image Retoucher position at SuperATV?
At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world class customer service. Currently, we have an opportunity to add an Image Retoucher to our team. This creative, detail-oriented role will collaborate closely with key marketing department personnel and the photographer to understand file usage, cropping requirements, and compositing requests.
Primary Job Duties
· Work hand in hand with photographers to manage and organize image files
· Work with the Creative Director to coordinate timelines and deadlines
· Work with our Graphic Design Team to deliver creative resources when needed
· Edit, touch up, and color correct RAW shots
· Utilize masking, detailed selections, adjustment layers, channels, and layer masks
· Image retouching of select files that includes clean up, outlining, merging multiple images, adjusting images for proper publication reproduction, or conversion for the web
· Organize, catalog, and tag deliverable files
· Ability to convert image files for web and print use
· Manage, maintain, and upload shots to our digital asset management system
Qualified candidates can work independently but enjoy working with a team; able to receive candid and constructive feedback, are committed to doing their best work each day without supervision and can handle a high volume of shots each week. The qualified candidate must have a strong understanding of non-destructive editing techniques, effective layer structures, color correction, and output formats in the Adobe Creative Suite. Particularly Adobe Photoshop.
2 years of production experience in color correction/image manipulation within a pre-media environment, and photography experience in a professional setting is preferred.
Reviewed candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio of images. Before and after images preferred.
