Manufacturing Supervisor

Superior Aluminum Casting in Independence, MO is looking to hire a full-time Manufacturing Supervisor. We pay a competitive salary starting at $65,000 – $75,000 plus incentive bonus, depending on experience. We also provide a great benefits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for coordinating production requirements and making capacity adjustments
• Responsible for increasing productivity and efficiency in all areas of production
• Creates/modifies documented work instructions to ensure processes are being met and followed (actual documents may be input by someone else)
• Root causes and take corrective action of any manufacturing defects
• Determines staffing needs to achieve production schedule
• Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations
• Executes preventative maintenance schedules across facility on daily, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual basis
• Performs light to moderate corrective maintenance on equipment on an as needed basis
• Stays current with contemporary advances in manufacturing technology and processes
• Leads, trains, manages and mentors a staff of operators throughout the facility
• Ensures all employees are current with training and required certifications to operate equipment and machinery
• Executes lean methodology in all areas of production, including 5S, etc.
