Personal Lines Insurance Agent

Superior Insurance Agency is seeking to add quality producers to our personal lines team. We are a fast-growing independent insurance agency that prides ourselves on prompt, efficient, and effective customer service. We are seeking candidates that have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize their workflow, work well in a team or independently, and have an aptitude for relationship building.

Responsibilities

· Client Interaction- Assess the insurance requirements of our clients and offer insurance solutions that best fit their needs. Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a timely manner.

· Carrier Relations- Build a strong working relationship with our carrier partners. This helps to develop an understanding of the carrier and their underwriting guidelines.

· Professional Growth- Stay informed on updates in carrier requirements and industry developments.

· Team Building- While you will work independently you will also be part of a team. The right candidate must be able to work well with others, have open communication, and able to seamlessly adapt to an ever-changing workday.

Requirements

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Proven sales background is preferred but not required

· Valid Michigan Property & Casualty licensing preferred. Candidate must have the ability to obtain licensing if not already licensed.

· Critical Thinking

· Ethical Conduct

· Experience in working with Microsoft office and Excel. Must be able to navigate our Agency Management System

· Ability to follow policies and procedures of the agency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
