What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer position at Superior Skilled Trades?
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Pipe Layers for a project in Punta Gorda, FL.
PAY: $24 - $26 per hr (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour days
SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday; 7am - 3:30pm (possible overtime)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 Months

Job Description & Requirements for Pipe Layers:
- Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems
- Use pipe lasers to ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes
- Set up and use concrete forms for pipe installation
- Locate utilities using specialized equipment to avoid damage during excavation
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layout and installation requirements
- Ensure pipes are properly aligned, leveled, and plumbed during installation
- Assist with concrete finishing around pipe connections
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have all PPE Gear
