Pipefitter

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Pipefitters for a temp to perm opportunity in High Point, NC.

• PAY: $18-$26hour (based upon experience)
• HOURS: 40-50 hours a week
• SCHEDULE: 6:00 am- 4:30 pm
• START DATE: ASAP
• Duration: Temporary to permanent

Pipefitter Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced commercial and industrial pipefitters.

• Install industrial piping systems including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Possess working knowledge of blueprints and submittals, as well as sequencing aspects of installation of all plumbing, including roof drains, rough in, and setting fixtures.
• Fabricate pipe supports.
• Fabricate and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and solve small problem situations that occur during normal coordination with other trades.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision
• Be familiar with all safety items.
• Hold license to operate all equipment necessary to perform your job.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Be professional at all times.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Pipefitter

Minimum 5 years pipe fitter experience

• Must have pipe fitter hand tools
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools
• Must have knowledge of pipe fabrication methods
• Knowledge of the different types of pipe, valves, fittings, as well as their function within the system
• Willingness to guard your own personal safety and the safety of others
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.
• Knowledge of all occupational hazards, including ladders
• Able to work minimum 40 plus hours per week
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift
• Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time

Additional Requirements for commercial Electrician:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Must be able to pass a drug screen!
