POLY MOLDING OPERATOR
Job Posting for POLY MOLDING OPERATOR at Superior Tire & Rubber Corp
Duties:
- Operate molding machines to produce high-quality product
- Set up molds and perform mold changes as needed
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure proper production
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve any issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Experience operating a forklift to transport materials and finished products
- Proficiency in basic math calculations for measuring and mixing materials
- Ability to assemble components according to specifications
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operator who can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in molding or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
This position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
