We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for networking products, prototyping concepts, and investigating new technologies. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): Responsible for porting, defining, developing, testing documenting, and maintaining firmware for Server System Work closely with the software and hardware teams to develop and integrate embedded code in a variety of processors: PICs, ARMs, etc. Design and develop new core technologies, participate in new products design Dive into and take ownership for critical design issues, work with cross-functional teams for debugging and troubleshooting issues Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science preferred, MS degree degree is strongly desirable Minimum of 2 years working experience in firmware development preferred Strong programming skills in C/C and Java is strongly desirable, with hands-on experience in embedded Linux development Experience in IPMI protocol, ARMs processors, virtual media and web server is a plus TCP/IP network protocols and typical network operation practices are desirableEEO StatementSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
