What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Master Scheduler position at Supernal?

What we do:The role of the Lead Master Scheduler involves coordinating and organizing project schedules and establishing guidelines for optimal project management techniques throughout the organization. This position will require close collaboration with the Programs, Engineering, and Finance teams and a comprehensive understanding of the company.
This position will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What you can do:- Manage input and integrate schedules from internal groups and subcontractors
- Analyze Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data
- Incorporate changes to project schedules, analyze and report impacts
- Maintain and provide historical data for schedules, breakthroughs, metrics, charts, and identified issues
- Set and apply the best scheduling practices and EVMS analysis methods
- Assist in solving complex problems by providing leadership support through the development of project plans
- Analyze risks in schedules and budgets using EVMS metrics
- Produce and review project-level labor projections, graphs, and reports
- Analyze and communicate variance analysis for programs
- Provide critical path analysis and provide recommendations to leadership and project owners to achieve scheduling targets
- Facilitate scheduling discussions to create project schedules
- Train team members in preparing, developing, and maintaining resource-loaded project/production schedules, applying scheduling software
- May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Master Scheduling, Production Scheduling, Program Scheduling, Project Controls, or similar roles (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Experience with military/aerospace scheduling practices
- Experience in Data Visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience structuring Deltek, OpenPlan, Cobra, MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling system databases
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and functional departments
- Ability to find opportunities and risks to program planning and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
