About the position:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for making sure the client's needs are being met and understood by each department in the company. Your duties include handling any client complaints, working to find solutions to any client issues and managing other departments to foster a positive client-company relationship. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities with the client. A successful Business Development Executive should be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties that pertain to company's operations and the clients' requirements. Your main responsibility is to make sure the client is happy, so they continue to do business with the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:

• Work with the LLS Sales Team as a direct counterpart covering the Midwest territory.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. This includes excellent communication skills, responsiveness, and understanding and anticipating client needs.
• New client onboarding, credit check, Salesforce account building and relation, proper hand off to Ops.
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
• Ability to travel as needed.

You are a great fit for this role if you:

• Have a bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, or other related field.
• Have 5 or more years of industry sales / operations experience required.
• Freight Forwarding Experience required, with some background in Operations.
• German or other European experience a plus.
• Market knowledge is essential.
