Maintenance Technician Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Collaborate with Equipment Operators and Supervisors to schedule maintenance. Prioritize machine breakdown repairs over projects and other tasks.
• Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Apply troubleshooting skills to various machine applications. Diagnose electrical problems using tools like Digital Volt Meter, Mega OHM Meter, and AMP probes.Troubleshoot control wiring, relay logic, motor drive circuits, and more.
• Perform Installation and Repairs: Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations and repairs. Perform systematic preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Welding and Machine Shop Tasks: Perform welding and machine shop tasks related to equipment repair.
• Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment: Organize the maintenance area for storage of parts and equipment. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with shift supervisors and machine operators to understand daily machine operations. Provide assistance and support to machine operators and supervisors as needed.
• Safety and Compliance: Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and OSHA regulations. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and company assets.
• Continuous Improvement: Design and fabricate parts to enhance machine/equipment operation and safety. Complete designated maintenance projects efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance troubleshooting and repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, welding, and machine shop tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols.
