HOST HOME PROVIDER POSITION
We are seeking experienced Host Home Providers who are willing to open their home and foster an individual who can no longer live independently in their own community and don't want to live in a communal setting. Providers share their homes and lives with individuals with Developmental Disabilities. As a Host Home Provider, you take the client into your home and provide them with a private bedroom and hands-on support, and ongoing daily care. You can help someone who has significant medical concerns or behavioral challenges and make a difference in their life as they become part of your family. HOST HOME PROVIDER POSITION
We are seeking experienced Host Home Providers who are willing to open their home and foster an individual who can no longer live independently in their own community and don't want to live in a communal setting. As a Host Home Provider, you take the client into your home and provide them with a private bedroom and hands-on support, and ongoing daily care. Signing bonus for a candidate after the individual receiving services is matched and the following conditions are met;
- Successfully complete the short and long forms online
- Successfully complete the home inspection
- Sust successfully complete the flyer
- Successfully complete the background check
- When these steps are completed, the applicant will receive $100.
- When the person receiving services has been placed and stays in the home for 90 days, the remaining $200 will be received
- Provide personal care
- Assist with hygiene care, meal preparation, dressing
- Provide a variety of recreational activities to enhance social development
- Include client in family life and activities
- Accompany clients to supermarkets, museums, parks, dances, recreation centers, etc.
- Provide transportation as needed
- Assist with medical care, including appointments and administering medications
- Provide documentation of progress notes and medical records
- Provide training on life learning skills
- Should have a High school or equivalent education (Required)
- Must complete and pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
- Must complete training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid and maintain ongoing training requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
- Must have a Wheelchair accessible home
- Experienced with medical needs preferred (i.e. CNAs, LPNs, RNs, etc.)
- Rewarding independent work
- Paid initial and ongoing training, including Relias, Safety Care, CPR/First Aid, and QMAP
- Designated Support Team
- Assistance in finding Respite and home care Aid(s)
- Ongoing support and assistance
- Client programming and events
- And much more
