Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team.

Overview: SHIFT Healthy Start is designed to meet the needs of mothers, infants, and families living in Tulsa County, focusing on social determinants of health to reduce infant mortality. As a Healthy Start Program Coordinator, you will work with expectant mothers and their families before, during and after pregnancy employing strategies to improve maternal child outcomes.

Position Summary: The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively to advance effectiveness and efficiency of our program. In this role, you will work closely with community partners. Special assignments will include assisting the Healthy Start Project Director in managing the day to day operations.

What You Will Do:

• Assist Program Director with implementation of the day-to-day program operations, communicating to funders, prepping for special meetings, and any other assigned projects.
• Provides Care Coordinator management including ongoing review of performance, clinical practices, and documentation of care provided ,and to assure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist Program Director and management team in the execution of federal reports, communicating to funders, prepping for special meetings, and any other assigned projects.
• Supervise program staff and provide guidance and support.
• Coordinates program curriculum and staffs continuing education.
• Attend designated meetings as requested including the National Healthy Start Association Meetings (out of state travel is required for any national projects).
• Maintains Healthy Start program meeting agendas and minutes.
• Create and maintain a Quality Improvement Team within the organization.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in working with health related programs
• Proven experience in program development and management
• Ability to supervise staff and provide leadership
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong understanding of cultural competency
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Bilingual (English/Spanish/Zomi) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
