Assistant Production Planner

Job Overview:
Assist in daily and weekly planning, inventory analysis, expediting and prioritizing throughout internal departments. Ideal candidate is a recent graduate or a junior planner with few years experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily and weekly production planning
• Perform Detailed inventory analysis to determine production needs.
• Coordinate production flow
• Provide Administrative support to Production Supervisor
• Adjust and correct work booking through ERP
• Analyze and report production scrap rate
• Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality
• Collaborate with Supply chain and Production

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

• B.S. in Operations Management or related fields
• Internship experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication or Supply Chain is preferred but not required
• basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality assurance techniques is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft suite
• ERP is preferred
• Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
