As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a dynamic Construction Field Project Manager who thrives both in the field and behind the desk.
As a Construction Field Project Manager, you’ll be the bridge between the construction site and the office. Your hands-on experience in the field and your organizational skills will be invaluable in ensuring seamless project execution. This is a field position and will be stationed in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Expertise:
- Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor progress, address challenges, and make real-time decisions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks.
Office Skills:
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align project goals.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Utilize project management software for scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Construction Management experience leading and mentoring 15 to 20 crew members.
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in field management and office-based project coordination.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project).
- Strong knowledge of steel construction processes, including fabrication, welding, and erection.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Travel as required to meet client needs and assist project team members as required to fulfill our objectives.
- Ability to adapt to changing field conditions while maintaining project objectives.
