Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help generate leads and appointments within HR and Finance departments. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of our industry preferred but not required. Experience using CRM systems is preferred, especially HubSpot CRM. Familiarity with using tools such as Apollo, Outreach.io, or Salesloft is a plus. This position reports to the Sales Development Manager and is a crucial part of our team's growth and success.


Responsibilities:


Lead Generation:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to identify potential leads and secure initial meetings.
  • Nurture and qualify leads through effective communication and engagement.
  • Use creativity and resilience to overcome objections and connect with decision makers at our target accounts to educate on the SureCo model.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely within SDR team as well as the Sales and Marketing departments to align strategies, messaging, and lead qualification criteria.
  • Provide valuable feedback to refine and enhance the SDR and Sales processes.

KPI Achievement:

  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation and appointment setting, including activity targets as well as outcome-based objectives.
  • Continuously strive to exceed targets and contribute to the team's success.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of consistent quota attainment in SDR role, sales role, or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience (preferably as an SDR or adjacent role).
  • Familiarity with SaaS or tech-related industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, such as HubSpot.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Unafraid of the phone; cold calling is a must in this more.
  • Motivated, self-driven, and goal oriented.
  • A desire to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with Employer Benefits and HR or Finance technology is welcomed, but not required
