Surefox North America is a veteran owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced Full time Events Lead with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team in New York, New York.
Under the direct guidance of the Program Manager, the Events Lead will be an outgoing and customer service-oriented individual who will represent Surefox in social and/or entertainment settings with our clients. The Events Lead will be responsible for working directly with client internal event staff to assist in ensuring all logistics go as planned.
The individual selected for this role must be flexible and able to respond to dynamic situations and requirements of various clients; exhibit time management and organizational skills; as well as possess effective communication and interpersonal skills. What you will do:

Lead in logistics execution from: initial event request to event personnel sourcing, coordination of operational deployment plans, imagery and final billing.

Manage budget and costs to better serve and cater to clients needs and ensure 100% accuracy for billing purposes.

Expertly apply federal, state, local labor and employment laws while supervising operational deployments, multiple team schedules and approving timesheets.

Supervise and host events in a timely and professional manner to maintain good relationships with clients and maximize the value of those relationships.

Establish and maintain rapport with stakeholders and relevant teams to ensure further client retention.

Provide leadership to security teams to ensure excellent service in order to maintain a positive reputation for Surefox North America.

Independently develop and lead operational deployment plans for supervised security officers according to the event needs you identify.

Clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities when appropriate.

Utilizing sound judgement, resolve any customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

Acts as a liaison between client and supervised officers during events.

Conduct advance work on venues and event locations.
-
Engage in occasional domestic and international travel.

Develop procedures for events varying from site to site.
What is required:

Fully vaccinated status related to COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by anticipated start date and ability to provide proof upon request.

Must be eligible for employment within the United States.

Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.

Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.

Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.

Must be licensed in good standing in the State of New York as a security guard or be eligible to qualify for a New York security guard card/license

Must have a high school degree or equivalent.

Must have a U.S. Passport.

Proficiency in Google applications to include; Gmail, Sheets, Docs and Slides.

Ability to build, foster, and maintain positive professional relationships.

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices.

Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Ability to adapt to last minute changes & resolve unexpected issues promptly.

Previous experience with Executive Security.

What is desired:

BS in Business, Communications, and/or Public Relations.

Previous experience in event coordinator position or event management.
-
2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or public relations.

Previous experience in marketing and/or hospitality management.
-
Proven experience with risk management & analysis.
-
CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages.
