Sure-Staff has an immediate need for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a Direct Hire position at their Pleasant Prairie, WI facility.
Smaller facility with a family atmosphere and great employee tenure!
Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Unloading materials from incoming trucks
- Input incoming materials into system.
- Distribute materials to stock locations.
- Assigning material to work orders and stage for production.
- Banding finished goods to skids or pallets and / or heat-shrink wrapping when required.
- Labeling finished goods once they have been counted out and moving them to storage locations.
- Printing shop orders from the shipping overview.
- Pulling stock and assigning it to the orders.
- Dispatching completed orders.
- Scanning packing list and certs to sales for updating of certs.
- Copying paperwork to include in packing slip and attaching it to the shipment with labels.
- Creating Bill of Lading and schedule the shipping companies to pick up the freight.
- Loading freight onto the trucks includes securing the load and completing the documentation.
- Packing and shipping of small packages and documents via FedEx and UPS.
- Participate in inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- GED or High school diploma
- Forklift certification is not required, but preferred. Willingness to go through continuing training to attain certifications.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Minimum of 3 years forklift experience desired.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx software preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment while adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
