Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and providing exceptional guest services. Minimum experience is about one year and curranty working in that position at any other hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests
- Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and interactions
- Conduct night audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
- Prepare daily reports, including occupancy rates, revenue summaries, and guest account balances
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing reservations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (multilingual abilities are a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management software systems
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required
