Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator with exceptional flexibility, excellent communication skills, administrative prowess, and a solid understanding of computer applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality control, improving efficiency, and ensuring cost-effectiveness for assigned operations, containment activities, inspections, rework, or sequencing.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for personnel on Standardized Work.
- Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions and time studies.
- Act as the primary Customer liaison on assigned jobs.
- Serve as a project manager for customers requiring detailed engineering and consulting expertise.
- Audit line-side and warehouse inventory to eliminate uncertified stock in shelf locations.
- Ensure proper adherence to the Reject Management/NCD process.
- Interface with logistics to ensure seamless material flow in and out of the containment area.
- Audit plant/warehouse storage areas to eliminate uncertified stock in usable locations.
- Conduct daily layered process audits of inspection activity.
- Lead and facilitate the Scrap Management Process.
- Generate and analyze data management activity reports related to quality inspection, scrap, inventory, and time management.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing quality or production.
- Proficiency in print reading, with experience in gauges or metrology.
- Strong management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email.
- Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents related to quality functions within the business.
- Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Availability to work any shift and travel for a minimum 2-week period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, PSO, and SPC.
- Automotive, quality, and supervisory experience.
