Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operation and oversight of the Center. The management spectrum covers planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, staff utilization, resource allocation, cost controls, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
- Demonstrated communication skills which indicate ability to be successful at counseling, teaching, and assessing.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional journals, nationally recognized guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to effectively present information to staff, management and physicians.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, medical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with experience in procedures and/or operating room, PACU, or Pre-Admission in a endoscopic or surgical setting. Prefer one year of management experience in ambulatory care.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- A current license from the State.
- Current BCLS certification
