General Surgeon

Responsibilities

Summary:Physician follows standards of practice to provide direct quality care to patients. Assures that the patients needs are met and provides open communication with patients, families and other physicians.

Practice Highlights:

• 15-18 patients plus inpatient consultations in a 25 bed critical access hospital
• Clinic expected work schedule: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM, ½ day administrative time
• Routine group call requirements up to 10 per month
• Current Group Includes Dedicated APC, MD and RN support 
• Procedures: General Bread and Butter General Surgery procedures with dedicated OR block time 
• System-Wide EPIC EM
