LOCATION: Dobson, NC
Description of Work: Surry County Health & Nutrition Center has an immediate opening for a full-time Public Health Nurse Supervisor I. The primary purpose of this position is to directly supervise and oversee the Child Health Program within Surry County Health & Nutrition Center. This position will report directly to the Director of Nursing. The duties of this working supervisor include training, counseling, and disciplining all employees that support this program; also planning, organizing, and directing daily clinic activities.
Minimum Education and Experience: Master’s in Nursing and two years of Public Health nursing experience; or graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and three years of Public Health nursing experience; or a Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of Public Health nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and four years of professional nursing experience three of which must have been in Public Health; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Special Qualifications: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.

Pay: $56,839.00 - $96,718.00 per year
