Position Description
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position will provide support to organize, develop, and lead the production function to ensure the achievement of the goals. Responsible for promoting safety, quality, production efficiency and continuous improvements throughout the various manufacturing processes. Ensures a flow of communication, as appropriate, to all cross-functional groups.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Manager in the following:
- Ensuring the production of product meets all quality standards and in a safe manner.
- Communicating and meeting daily production schedules.
- Assigning daily job duties.
- Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures.
- Responsible for timely and accurate production reporting.
- Ensure proper control and identification of inventory and WIP.
- Report any quality, maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate individual.
- Foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation, including soliciting input from Team Members, to support the successful achievement of goals and objectives in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Lead by example and hold accountable the work team in performing responsibilities and maintaining continuous improvement.
- Responsible for team compliance to all policies. Cases of non-compliance or conflict will immediately be referred to the Operations Manager.
- Support the Quality Management System including but not limited to: ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 transition, train employees on the QMS, audits and related subjects, ensure compliance by all team members, lead and coordinate internal audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy
- 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience
Required Education
- HS Diploma or GED
