Who we are - Sushi by Bou is changing the sushi scene across America. With an ever-growing list of locations, Sushi by Bou brings a high end Omakase experience to the people in an intimate and speakeasy environment. Our timed Omakase (30 minute and 60 minute options).

Compensation: $800- $1200 per week! (Contingent on tips)

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Oversee the dining room and make it a warm, fun and welcoming place
- Ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience
- Actively taking and processing reservations
- Answering incoming calls and questions
- Must be personable and provide fast friendly service to guests.
- We are looking for an experienced maitre'd to be the face at our speakeasy and sushi counter
- Providing accurate wait times to walk ins and monitoring reservations
- Escort customers to their seats based upon reservations
- Coordinate with staff about available seating options
- Pouring water for customers & taking drink orders
Qualifications or Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Maitre'D
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Japanese experience a plus!
- Food and beverage knowledge required
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
