Description
Sustainability Engineering Group has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Manager with at least 10 years experience providing high-level civil engineering QA/QC Support. This individual will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day support of the project management and engineering staff.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site position working in our office located in Phoenix, Arizona – not a remote position. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Requirements
Translating client requirements into workable design solutions
Illustrating quality creative concept designs for medium to large scale projects
Carry forward concept and schematic designs through design development and construction documentation
Reviewing and editing specifications with vendor coordination
Coordinating with multiple disciplines and consultants and integrating their engineering systems into the overall project design
Conducting thorough code and ADA accessibility reviews for projects
Coordinating with vendors for the appropriate citation of materials and assemblies into the specifications and drawings
Assist in scheduling, project management, and architectural data management.
Possessing working knowledge of Revit, MicroStation (or AutoCAD), 3D modeling/Rendering Software, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Products
Ensuring compliance with the company’s quality assurance policies and project delivery procedures
Mentoring Junior Level Architects and Designers
Qualifications:
BS degree in Civil Engineering
PE Certification preferred
Ten or more years of civil engineering experience, preferably in commercial land development
Minimum four years as a Project Manager
Ability to work on projects from small to large in scope
Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines while managing a diverse portfolio
Proficiency in the use of civil engineering/land development-based CAD drafting using Autodesk Civil 3D
Knowledge of local jurisdictional requirements is a plus
