Sustainable Talent is seeking a Clean Room Manufacturing Technician to support our client, Magic Leap, a well-funded pre-IPO enterprise Augmented Reality technology company. The Clean Room Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, and performing preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, as well as collecting and evaluating operating data to ensure process optimization.
Responsibilities: Clean Room Manufacturing Technician
- Perform production operations in a clean-room manufacturing environment..
- Set up, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Collect and evaluate operating data to ensure process optimization..
- Use sophisticated programs to track and control components through the production process..
- Coach or train other lower-level technicians to develop teamwork, leadership, and technical skills.
- Work with engineering in conducting tests and experiments and execution of DOEs.
- Be able to perform 6S activities and to look for safety and ergonomic opportunities.
- This position primarily works in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The employee must be able to suit up and wear cleanroom attire for extended periods (80% of shift).
Qualifications: Clean Room Manufacturing Technician
- Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clean-room manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting up, calibrating, and performing preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
