Position Overview:Charge Nurses are experiened registered nurses who have displayed leadership, management and communication skills. They are responsible for managing, supervising and assisting the nursing staff, as well as providing adminstrative support and patient care. The primary role of the Charge nurse is to coordinate the delivery of care for the patient popultion they serve from admission through discharge. Included in this delivery of care are all aspects of the physical, psychosocial, safety and educational needs of the patient and their family/support system. this funciton is performe din collaberation with an interdisciplinary team including but not limited to nursing peers, attending physicians and ancillary support services. The Charge nurse uses the nursing process, medical therapeutics, technology and personal interventions to accomplish this. The Charge nurse assists the Director/Manager in department operations, coaching of staff, meeting with management to review staff and administrative issues.
Must meed all Education, Certification and Licensure as Staff Registered Nurse II and Department specefic special requirements.

Pay Range: $73.66 - $97.38
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
