Position Overview:
Performs assignments to patients, employees and visitors within the realm of Transport Service. This includes transporting patients and providing mail services, e.g. the processing of the outgoing mail and the sorting/ distribution of the incoming and departmental mail by the internal courier services.

EDUCATION
HS Diploma: GED or equivalent or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
Transporter certification through the CPMC program preferred.
DL-California Drivers Class C
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN
Transport experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Good driving record and valid California driver’s license.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or push approximately 300 lbs.
Computer skills desired.
Pay Range: 26.36-32.49
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
