Applies knowledge of object oriented programming languages, web frameworks and techniques. Understands common n-tier design patters (i.e. Model, View, Controller). Works closely with others to build applications within vision. Adheres to departmental development standards. Validates understanding of customer requirements by building clickable mock-ups. Validates solution approach by developing prototypes. Mentors Developers in the development of enterprise n-tier web and client applications. Performs unit and integration testing of developed code; designs approach for unit and integration testing. Partners with other Analysts to understand business and functional requirements. Conceptualizes solutions designed to meet business and functional requirements. Assists in translating requirements into technical design document, articulating approach. Assists in capturing consensus and signoff on technical approach. Mentors Software Developers in the translation of requirements to technical designs. Designs processes for translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications. Documents technical solutions for peer developers. Prepares document migration procedures for Operations. Develops templates for documenting technical solutions and code migration procedures. Supports developed applications. Makes configuration upgrades. Identifies impact of enhancement requests. Assists customers to identify and resolve problems. Uses enterprise methodologies and guidelines for collecting business requirements. Provides users with highest quality service and escalates issues appropriately. Enhances and fixes existing applications.Job Description:
Education Requirement: US or foreign Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Information System, Computer Science or other closely-related field.
Experience Requirement: 8 years of experience in the job offered, -Linux/Unix Administrator, Middleware Administrator and DevOps Engineer or other related position or occupation.

Specific Requirements: Employer will accept a US or foreign Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information System, Computer Science or other closely-related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered, Linux/Unix Administrator, Middleware Administrator and DevOps Engineer or other related position or occupation.
Education or Experience must include:
- Experience in Linux/Unix Administration, Administering and upgrading middleware products (IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, IBM MQ Server, and IBM Content Foundation FileNet Server).
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience. Foreign educational equivalent is acceptable. External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
RATE OF PAY: $122,325-125,000 / year
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
