Suyash Consulting, LLC (SuYash) is actively seeking a Highway Project Manager with a BS in Civil Engineering to work in our Columbia, MD Office. The ideal candidate will manage objectives of highway projects including scope, schedule and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Training and mentoring junior staff.
- Prepare and monitor schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices.
- Develop Project Management plans including quality plans for assigned projects.
- Develop and coordinate project scope.
- Oversee and manage technical resources on the project team.
- Participate in client presentations.
- Development of open-end contract task proposals.
- Coordinate and assist with marketing proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related course work to Transportation Engineering.
- Maryland Professional Engineer License.
- 10 years of experience in highway design projects.
- 5 years of experience with MDOT SHA/MDTA highway design and/or Maryland Design-Build projects. This experience shall include the management of highway design projects, including capacity improvement projects for roads, highways, and/or interchanges.
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level preferred.
- Project management and business development experience preferred.
- Experience managing multi-discipline project teams preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in preparing Letter of Responses and Technical Proposals.
- Candidates should be proficient with MS Office, MicroStation, InRoads.
- Familiarity with the following software a plus: SureTrak, Open Roads (3D) or other 3D modeling software.
- Excellent communication skills, including leading client presentations and interviews.
