SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be primarily responsible for assisting the implementation and enforcement of the Quality Management System throughout the company.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Support the company Quality Management System
- Assist in the scheduling and completion of onboard training of new hire employees
- Train managers, supervisors and employees on company policies and procedures as needed
- Identify and evaluate training and development needs, recommend improvements where applicable
- Perform facility walkthroughs and develop walkthrough reports documenting areas of improvement when requested
- Maintain awareness of changes in policies, procedures and protocols
- Review documentation (SOPs, production batch records, testing records, etc.) to ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements
- Update and monitor existing quality program databases
- Assist in root cause analyses, complaint and nonconformance investigations
- Work with Production and QC to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies which may impact compliance, quality, or production
- Possess strong communication skills with the capacity of establishing cooperative interdepartmental partnerships
- Assist in other tasks as determined
CLASSIFICATION
This is a full-time non-exempt role.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Or Equivalent Experience
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a GMP environment preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong problem solving abilities
- 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Good human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrated ability to learn, follow and help refine procedures with minimal oversight
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Function as part of a multi-discipline project team
- Works creatively and effectively and adopts hands-on focus
- Self-starter with willingness to expand expertise and skill base
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
