Job Description: We are looking for a full time Dental Assistant /Patient Care Coordinator to help team (doctor and dental assistant) provide best outcomes and an exceptional experience for our patients. This person will be both assisting the doctor in procedures as well as helping patients at the front desk. The right candidate will have a friendly, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. Other skills will be well organized, detail-focused, and passionate about patient care.

Job duties:

• Infection control and sterilizing dental instruments, trays and operatories.
• Answering phone calls, checking messages/emails and returning them in a timely manner.
• Greet patients by gathering relevant financial insurance documentation.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork as necessary.
• Preform confirmation calls for upcoming appointments.
• Maintain cleanliness of receptions area and waiting room.
• Understand and adhere to HIPPA and OSHA regulations.
• Collecting patient payments and posting them to the patient's account.
• Presenting treatment plans.
• Preparing rooms for treatment.
• Xray certified or willing to become certified.
• Provide coverage for both planned and unplanned absence of the DA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
