JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Box Room Inventory and Receiving Clerk position performs all tasks related to standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
1) Sets up the plant with the appropriate product for each line.
2) Makes sure that enough products are supplied to each line to maintain each work shift’s orders.
3) Unloads every truck from all Raw Material vendors, matching the physical load with the BOL upon delivery.
4) Makes sure warehouse is in FIFO state to effectively rotate stock as it is being used.
5) Writes down, and enters every Raw Material truck into the system using GRPO sheet, and scanner.
6) Keeps warehouse clean and safe, free of obstacles, broken pallets, and exposed products.
7) Responsible for ordering corrugated and fiber carton boxes to make sure that the warehouses inventory is stocked and ready for the next day’s schedule.
8) Warehouses are a stand-up rack system, so must utilize a forklift to run and maintain the warehouse.
9) If transition of shift occurs, make sure that enough product is out and ready so that second shift can start up, and run smoothly.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold temperatures at approximately 48°F. Warm clothing is suggested. Environment requires sanitizing, hairnet, smock, apron, cloth gloves, nitrile gloves, hearing and I protection.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This job is a full-time position. Some Saturdays may be required, and Supervisor will notify employee immediately once confirmed. Typical day is approximately 8 hours.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED is helpful, but not required.
Referred Education and Experience
Previous production/warehouse experience helpful, but not required.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
Authorized to work in the United States.
