Shelter Supervisor at SWAN in Olney, IL
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Relevant work experience and college experience may be considered. Must demonstrate initiative, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills. Experience as a supervisor in a social service field is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and be able to lift 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position- 40 hours per week with on-call responsibilities. The Shelter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Caseworkers and Client Advocates in our Domestic Violence Shelter and Homeless Shelter. In addition, the Shelter Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the food programs and clothing donations. The successful candidate must complete 40 hours of domestic violence training and become a certified domestic violence professional within the first two years of employment at SWAN.
Background checks are required. The pay rate is negotiable.
