SUMMARY:
The E-commerce Operations Packer will possess the desire and ability to execute order fulfillment of day-to-day operations of the e-commerce department. This position will be full-time during the busy holiday season (4th Quarter).
This position is a hands-on position and the candidate is expected to be working with the departmental team members 100% of the time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- 75% Operational activities including communication with ecommerce manager, and order fulfillment while ensuring high quality standards
- 25% Organize and maintain a safe working environment while adhering to sanitation expectations
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain company quality and standards of shipping and handling with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a punctual readiness to work
- Effective communication with an emphasis of skilled teamwork
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Preparing shipping boxes with proper packing insulation and correct outside labeling with the use of shipping equipment such as tape gun, labels, etc
- Building gift boxes with required items
- Maintaining an organized shipping area by stocking, cleaning, and sorting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Education:
- High School degree required
- Experience in packaging or shipping would be highly desirable
People Skills:
- Must have great communication skills and not be afraid to correct mistakes in real time
- Must be able to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner
Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
- Ability to multitask and adjust priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to exhibit attention to detail.
- The ability to work with groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise and backgrounds

- The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Standing most of the work day is required.
- Work requires movement in and out of store rooms, and coolers
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to heating and refrigeration equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
