We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic high school and college students to join our team as Summer Camp Assistants. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our art summer camps. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the arts, art education, or early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process for campers.
  • Support instructors in classroom setup, organization, and cleanup.
  • Engage with campers to provide assistance and guidance with their art projects.
  • Supervise campers during breaks and transition periods.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and communication with parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with the camp team to ensure a safe, positive, and enriching experience for all campers.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the arts and working with children.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with campers, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
  • Prior experience working with children or in a camp setting is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

This is a seasonal, part-time position for the duration of our summer camp season. Camps run from June 3rd to August 16th, from 8:30 AM-4:30PM. Summer Camp Assistants will be scheduled anywhere between 5-25 hours per week.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
