What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Marketing Analyst position at Sweetwater Sound?
Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of musical instruments & pro audio gear is looking to add a Performance Marketing Analyst to our growing Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will work to research and understand our brand and partner brands, discover insights into our audiences, and leverage those learnings to develop compelling media campaigns.
A positive attitude, and the ability to proactively work with multiple internal teams will be essential. This role requires a strong aptitude towards strategic thinking, music gear knowledge, as well as hands-on digital marketing experience. A successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with a broad understanding of advertising, ad technology, and design.
Job Responsibilities
- Examine market, industry and design reports and identify important trends.
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss goals for a given marketing effort.
- Develop creative documentation and project briefs for marketing efforts.
- Understand product at a deep level, with the ability to distill value props into impactful marketing copy.
- Monitor and manage the progress of marketing assets throughout the development cycle.
- Setup campaigns in respective marketing channels.
- Track results of digital marketing efforts, gathering performance insights and generating regular reporting.
- Based on performance insights, recommend refinements and optimizations to future marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of paid media experience at either an agency or in-house.
- A high degree of familiarity and ability to execute in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, Twitch Ads, etc.
- A test-and-learn mindset, understanding the elements of your campaigns and how to test them in order to optimize performance.
- A strong understanding of music gear, and the ability to distill what makes a piece of gear or brand unique.
- Bonus: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
