Diesel/Equipment Technician (Entry Level - Journeyman)

Looking for Mechanics interested in full-time work with opportunity for growth! We're a smaller company looking for people willing to grow with us. We offer training through various manufactures, as we work on things as small as F150's to heavy equipment and in-shop on the job training.

Required Skills and Experience

• Mechanical experience diagnosing and repairing required
• Possess an appropriate tool set for the position or adjusted pay for providing tools
• Experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Diesel Engines; equipment experience preferred but not required
• Welding and fabrication is a plus
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Competent verbal and written English communication abilities
• Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 100 pounds
• Experience performing DOT & BIT inspections; is a plus but not required *will provide training
• Experience with air and hydraulic braking systems; is a plus but not required
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various types of light - medium duty vehicles and construction equipment in the field
• Provide comprehensive day and vehicle reports to central staff
• Ensure total customer satisfaction prior to leaving job site; communication & cleanliness
• Keep mobile van and shop area clean and hazard free

• Basic computer and internet literacy
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
