Position Description 


  • Oil and grease moving parts of friction surfaces of equipment like shafts, bearings, sprockets, and drive chains according to the specified procedure and instructions
  • Force grease into bearings with a grease gun
  • Fills air oilers up on specified machines
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor immediately
  • May clean machines, sweep floors, and transport material
  • Check and fill gearboxes/ reducers to proper oil levels
  • Know how to read tape measurer, caliper, micrometer, ect.
