What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adaptive Swim Instructor position at Swim Angelfish?
We're hiring a dedicated Swim Instructor to provide adaptive lessons and training to children and adults. Looking to hire someone with swim teaching experience. All training will be provided. As a swim instructor, you'll be responsible for training students in private and semi-private lessons, along with conducting pool activities. Swimming is not just a sport, it has many health benefits like improving cardio-respiratory endurance and muscle strength. You should be confident in the water and enjoy working with people of all ages. As a swim instructor, you will work with our aquatic staff to create lesson plans and determine objectives. Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to children and adults .
- Conduct learner assessments and assign suitable skills level .
- Perform water drills, lead training exercises and accompany learners in the water.
- Perform administrative duties such as managing records for lesson attendance, scheduling, checking out clients.
- Ensure safety by enforcing pool rules and assist learners with disabilities (e.g. physical disabilities, autism, trauma, motor difficulties, anxiety, delays, sensory issues and general discomfort.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
