Host/Hostess Swimming Pools

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. The Host/Host will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment.

We are looking for a private swimming pool owner who is passionate about running a small business within their local community. In this role, you will partner with Swimay, think Airbnb for pools, to offer paid access to your private swimming pool. Swimay helps homeowners across the United States, Canada, and Australia connect with families and friends looking for a place to hang on a nice warm day-- all while making thousands per month in extra income. It is completely up to you, the host, to decide when you want to open your pool for private bookings and you approve every user that comes in.

Key Responsibilities

• Must own a private swimming pool, hot tub and/ or cold plunge
• Passion for running a small business and building community
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

We will partner with you giving you a frictionless experience and making sure you are comfortable and in the best position to provide a great hosting- Greet guests with a welcoming smile and provide them with menus
- Manage reservations and organize seating arrangements
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to handle guest relations professionally
- Ability to maintain phone etiquette while handling inquiries and reservations
- Understanding of restaurant operations and seating procedures

Pay: $20.00 - $200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
