Swimming Instructor / Swim Teacher
SwimKids in Syracuse, UT is looking to hire a part-time Swimming Instructor / Swim Teacher to provide one-on-one swimming lessons for kids. Are you a high-energy individual? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR / SWIM TEACHER
As a Swimming Instructor / Swim Teacher, you are excited to work with kids in the pool! You work one-on-one with children or in small group settings to help teach swimming and safety. Friendly and personable, you communicate regularly with parents to keep them updated on their student's progress levels. With a patient and calm demeanor, you take extra time helping resistant students to overcome their fears. You enjoy interacting with a variety of people throughout your shift and feel good about the part you play in helping children to be safer in the water!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to be in the water for up to 5 hours each day
- Ability to tread water while keeping students safe
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
A swim background is not necessary, as we will train you! Are you friendly, enthusiastic, and optimistic? Can you work effectively in a loud, fast-paced environment? Do you want to work with kids in a fun setting? If yes, you might just be perfect for this entry-level aquatic position!
