What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca Cola?
The Forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility
• Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements
• Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time
• Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures
• Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc
• Move product and/or materials manually as required or directed by leadership
• Ensure proper rotation of product by BBE date codes
• Meet company standards for productivity
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required or
• Forklift Certification within 30 days from hire required
• 1 years of general warehouse experience required
• Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
