What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virtual Assembly Technician position at SWJ TECHNOLOGY, LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the successful candidate will engage in manufacturing assembly operation simulations. Simulations will include fly-in simulations, quick walk, detailed, static postures, working height calculator, and building Information model 2D and 3D layouts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Co-Op/internship or up to three (2) years professional experience in Autocad Architecture 2018, Inventory Professional 2018, and Navisworks.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3 years’ experience and proficiency in Autocad Architecture 2018, Inventory Professional 2018, and Navisworks.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with working in Automotive Assembly Plants is an asset.
- Ability to work with a small Team of Technicians on a common project.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to strict timelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
- Location: Belvidere, IL
- Schedule: Day Shift
- Core Hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm / Monday – Friday
- Weekly Overtime: As needed
- Weekend Work: As needed
- Travel: None
- Assignment Start: 2/1/22
- Assignment End: 3 Years
