Hair Transplant Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed for world-class high-end cosmetic surgery practice!

We have two enjoyable positions open at my clinic for a professional MA to work alongside me and my highly skilled OR team. We perform surgeries 4 days per week and this requires great interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism, and great "tweezer dexterity.” What is “tweezer dexterity,” you may ask? It is the ability to place tiny objects in tiny holes quickly and accurately, and it is an innate skill that you either have or you don’t - like "perfect pitch" for the fingers…

Job Requirements:

• Technical abilities manipulating small objects (also known as tweezer dexterity)
• Interest in Hair and/or experience with hair loss (compassion for this patient population)

• Operating room/surgical assisting interest or experience

• Proficiency with blood draws and injections

• Ability to join us for a long-term (3 year) commitment
• Must have excellent vision (either naturally or corrected) and be able to tolerate sitting for hours at a time

Other requirements include:

• Schedule flexibility (30-50 hours per week)
• Attention to detail
• Personal responsibility (on time and reliable)

• Familiarity with sterile procedures, OSHA requirements, HIPAA
