Our client, a top music industry publishing group is seeking a highly motivated and eager to learn, Mechanical Licensing Coordinator to support their team on a contract basis during a busy time!
Location: Franklin, TN (onsite work)
Hourly Rate: Up to $20/hour
Duration: 4 months (40 hours/week)
This person will be an essential part of the team, responsible for licensing audio-only recordings and will ensure all aspects are registered properly.
The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail and work ethic; the capacity to handle large work volume and to do so with grace and composure; excellent communication skills and a firm handle of technology and computer systems.
Requirements/Experience Needed:
- Review data and provide corrections on bulk licensing reports
- Assist with product setup in their internal database
- Issue statutory mechanical licenses
- Maintain multiple workflow trackers in Monday.com
- Request missing documentation for controlled rates
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize heavy workload and multi-task effectively
- Robust computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team to achieve goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure and deadlines
- Basic understanding of music publishing, including copyright & mechanical licensing
- Passion for the music industry, always a plus!
Salary : $15 - $20
