ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- Enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer
- Presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order
- Assists with ordering filling as needed
- Reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
- Notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs
- Other general duties include: food preparation, stocking of supplies, cleaning of dining room tables and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, discarding of trash and filling ice bins
- Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed
- Communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler
- Observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health & safety protocols.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area
- Looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be willing to work variable schedules. Evenings, weekends, holidays
