Reports to: Sales Processing Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose: Process whole goods related paperwork.
Responsibilities: Verifies the completeness and accuracy of sales information such as customer information, equipment quantity, amounts, and payoff information. Processes equipment settlement which includes assessment and application of all eligible equipment programs/discounts. Registers customer equipment warranty. Facilitates communication between salesperson, customer, and aftermarket to ensure a smooth and orderly transaction. Records financing, rentals, and other purchase information into the dealer business system as well as administer applicable accounting transactions. Assists with John Deere inventory audits.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: Ability to use the dealer business system and other programs specific to the position. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred. Understands accounting fundamentals. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
