What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Operations Consultant position at Sylvamo?
Reporting to the HR Operations SSC Manager, this position will work from our Corporate Headquarters in Memphis, TN. The position will provide Human Resources operations support in the areas of payroll, training, HR vendor administration and compensation & benefits. Under general supervision, the position will also work on projects of small to medium complexity. WHAT YOU WILL DO:Utilizes data from various HR systems to develop reports/presentations, spreadsheets, and analysis to support the HR Operations team deliverables Enters appropriate transactions in Dayforce in support of the following processes including but not limited to: Payroll elections which are not accessible for HR and Payroll Admins (all US locations)ARI Vehicle DeductionsCross business position transfersGlobal location/org maintenance Cost centers and profit centers maintenanceProvides assistance to the Benefits Team with the following processes including but not limited to: Quarterly dependent social security number solicitation Managing new hire packet distribution lists with vendors Monthly monitoring for unpaid leave of absence Monthly monitoring of new long-term disability cases Weekly review and updates of Retirement Savings Account indicator Monitor and respond to inquiries from various shared mailboxes:US HR OperationsPayroll EscalationsFinance Payroll Oversee the Payroll Audit Control Report process by ensuring US locations report their appropriate audits each monthProvide consulting and support for HRIS system for various HR groups Engage in key HRIS system related projects (planning, implementation, testing and sustaining) Assist with the management and coordination for company Equifax account WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Bachelor’s degree required Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint Ability to manipulate large amounts of data from multiple sources in Excel (maintain spreadsheets, utilize v-lookups, pivot tables, etc), ensure data accuracy, and summarize the data in a concise manner Exceptional organizational skills and customer service skills Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong communication skills including both verbal and written communication.
